Years ago, I watched Judgment at Nuremberg on tape at home. Whenever Maximilian Schell came on, my dog stopped whatever she was doing and watched him.

I thought, “Now that’s presence, if you’re so powerful that you can get a dog to stop and watch a tape of you on TV, that’s acting”.

BTW: He won Best Actor that year for his performance as the German defense counsel.

Their differences are less than their similarities so I believe whoever that was is being disingenuous. The last part is REALLY creepy.
